Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Thank you for visiting.  On Saturday, May 13th, Bob had a heart attack at home.  He had just laid down on the couch with a book. Kristi was in the kitchen when she heard his labored breathing.  When she checked on him he was gasping for breath.  She called 911 and ran outside to get the attention of the neighbor, Russ.  She returned to Bob, placed him on the floor and began CPR until First Responders arrived.  He was taken to the emergency room at Essentia.  Bob had a proximal lesion on his left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) that broke off blocking the blood flow.  Doctors performed an angioplasty and placed a stent in the artery.  They also inserted an Impella devise to help with blood flow.  He is in the Cardio Intensive Care Unit receiving ongoing treatment and care from the expert staff. Please keep Bob and his family in your thoughts and prayers.  Regular updates will be provided.
