On Saturday Dad was doing what he loves most-helping his grandkids! He was picking up Kalie at the airport for her summer internship in MN. While paying for parking Dad suddenly went into cardiac arrest. Kalie called 911 and paramedics worked on Dad and were able to revive him. He was transported to Fairview Southdale where he is in ICU in the cardiac unit. Dad is currently in a medically induced coma while we wait for cardiac and neurological tests. Our focus is on Dad and we will take care of him exactly as he always took care of Mom. As visits are difficult in the ICU, we will continue to update everyone on Caringbridge and through Jolene's Facebook. We are asking for all your good thoughts and prayers that Dad continues to fight and show the amazing strength he has shared with all of us!
