Welcome to  Bob's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Please feel free to check here first for updates. We appreciate your support.

Most of you know that Bob was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma  12 years ago.  He has been an over-achieving  patient, weathering countless procedures including an incredible 5 stem cell transplants at UAMS. More importantly, he has doggedly resisted letting the disease define him or dictate the way he lives.

Yesterday, November 26th, 2017, after much soul searching and an achingly difficult weekend, it became clear that even with help, Laura and Owen could no longer care for Bob at home.  He's now at the Willard Walker Hospice Home.  This is a fantastic facility and he'll be getting the level of care he needs.

Bob has reached out already to many of you. Until yesterday he remained the social extrovert we all love.  Please no visitors at this time. We will update if that changes. Thank you so much for sharing your memories here. It gives us a lot of joy remembering with you.
