As many of you know, my husband Bob had to be admitted to the hospital on Friday the 15th for Covid 19 complications. His symptoms started on Jan 10, and throughout the week he gradually developed more symptoms. By Thursday night he was running high fevers that wouldn't stay down with Tylenol, he was coughing, and he was extremely weak and could hardly get out of bed. I called 911 early Fri morning and they took him into our local hospital here in Montrose. After 2 hrs in the ER, they informed me that the chest xray showed the virus to be in his lungs and they would be starting him on a bunch of treatments. I was able to stay with him in the ER, but once they took him to his hospital room they said I would not be able to see him anymore. It was very hard to see them roll him out of ER and away from me, not knowing when I could see him again. He has received excellent care at our little community hospital, but his condition has not improved since admission. So many people are texting and calling and wanting updates, so I think it's time for Caring Bridge to keep everyone informed. Your prayers, comments and support are most appreciated. We know God is in control, and whatever happens is His plan for us.
