Welcome to ONEIL's CaringBridge website for Bob Heilman. We are using it to express our sorrow at Bob's passing and to show our love for him and his family during this difficult and trying time. Thank you for visiting.
Bob will be deeply missed here, leaving behind now only those fond memories we have of him. I say with confidence that Bob would not wish for us to grieve but rather celebrate the time we shared. Bob’s main concern was always the welfare of the company and the employees; he worked tirelessly and selflessly to ensure we all shared a piece of our company and enjoyed the fruits of our success.
Bob always did enjoy life to the fullest, he was one of the funniest men I’ve known. He was an animal lover, enjoyed riding motorcycles, tinkering with old farm equipment or anything with an engine for that matter, fishing, music, and of course, spending time with Heather and his extended family.
Bob joined the company in 1984 and rose through the ranks quickly; he had excellent judgment, was always fair, generous, and had tremendous vision. He conceived and promoted the creation of the technology group, ISO and the QMS system, negotiated and secured some of our biggest accounts, and gave us his crowning achievement, the ESOP.
This is truly a great loss to our organization. He will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to work with him and whose lives he touched. But as he would certainly say right now “Onward and upward Hernan, try not to embarrass the company”.
Bob made preparations in the event this unfortunate situation fell upon us. The management team and the board of directors will follow the plan in place to ensure continuity. I want you all to rest assured the company is in good hands. We will pull together and march-on just like he would want us to do.
