Bob Gorman

Hi all,  this is Bob's sister-in-law Judy.  We have started this site to keep everyone up to date on Bob's surgery.


A few weeks ago Bob experienced some difficulty with his vision on the left side.  It came on very suddenly and he thought it would go away just as quickly.  When it hadn't gone away after a few hours he and Maureen went to the hospital thinking it could be more serious.


A MRI revealed some lesions and Bob was referred to Rush Hospital.  The doctors at Rush were able to determine that the lesions were actually one mass and that Bob would need surgery.  The surgeon removed the mass last Thursday. 


Since then we have been waiting for the results of the pathology.  Bob and Maureen are expecting to hear something next week but were told that it may take several weeks until the doctors have the whole picture.
