Cancer does not define me.  It is simply a condition that I must live with for now.

I made an appointment with my primary care doctor to have him take a look at a persistant cough I had for a while.  He took a chest x-ray and found that myright diaphragm was pressing up into my lungs much higher than anormal person.


After that it was a whirlwind of tests – cat scan (showed and enlarged liver with suspicious spots), pet scan (showed cancerous areas on my sigmoid colon and liver), liver biopsy (confirmed spots on liver were metastasized colon cancer),colonoscopy (confirmed the cancer in my sigmoid colon).

So now here I am living through a battle with cancer.......
