Hi friends and family, in late 2011 we found out Bob had kidney cancer. By the time the docs found it, it was stage 4 ... They gave us 2 years. Through a variety of meds and other pharma products, we've been able to keep the bad stuff from growing. The hope was to keep it contained.

Although we we're always fighting the growth, Bob and Diane were able to play golf, enjoy their winter home in California, and travel.

In March 2019, we discovered cancer had reappeared. Initially, the docs were leaning towards a spread of the original renal-cell carcinoma. But since his condition (and blood) wasn't improving, a biopsy was performed. In April, we discovered our new foe - Richter's Transformation CLL.

We hope to keep this site updated to keep our friends and family from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and California informed. Your prayers are truly appreciated!
