Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Bob was diagnosed with prostate cancer March 2015.  His doctor started him on hormone therapy.  In November 2015 he started radiation treatment, 43 treatments over 2 months.  Through out these treatments, he was doing very well.  You wouldn't know he had cancer.  Then in April 2016 his PSA went up.  Doctor decided to do another bone scan and CAT scan.  The prostate cancer had metastasized in his hip, femur, ribs and spine.  The next  course of treatment was Provenge, an immunotherapy, in July and August 2016.  In August, he began experiencing pain in his right hip and right femur.  Another bone scan, CAT scan, x-ray and MRI were ordered.  The cancer was worse.
