Family and friends of Bobby Hart, this website is going to be the place where all updates about Bobby’s health are located. He has family all over, and it’s hard to keep everyone updated regularly, so Dr. Allen suggested we have a site here so I can keep everyone informed. Currently, Bobby is at his home apartment with hospice care. Hospice care means that the doctors have no cure for his cancer or heart issues, so the focus is in keeping him comfortable for as long as he has left. He is on oxygen all the time now and is getting sleepier more, so he is not awake for conversations as much as he used to be. He is not in pain right now, but we do have medications to keep him comfortable when needed. I will post updates as often as I can, and you can feel free to reply or contribute as desired. Please check here first before texting or calling my cell phone as I am spending pretty much all my time taking my care of my dad.
We all know he is not a perfect person, but neither are we. I am aware of the past and am choosing to focus on showing love to this imperfect man who is the only father I ever knew. My one request is that we not use this site to do anything other than coordinate information and make plans for the future.
