On Saturday, October 13, 2018, Bobbie was having lunch with a friend when she lost consciousness. She was taken to University Hospital via ambulance and they determined she had bleeding on the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage) from a ruptured aneurysm. Bobbie was then transferred to Augusta University Hospital where they were able to perform an angiogram and endovascular coiling to prevent further bleeding from the aneurysm. Since then, Bobbie has been in the neuroscience ICU at Augusta University under 24/7 care.
