Bobbi Braun

Welcome to our Caring Bridge website we set up for Bobbi. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

If you’ve ever met Bobbi,  then you know what a wonderful soul she is. Funny, sweet and kind. Bobbi makes everyone she meets feel special.

On November 19th  Bobbi unexpectedly started feeling off. Chest pain, left arm pain and ringing in her ears. Her boyfriend, Jason, was able to get her to the emergency room where after bloodwork, a CT scan and a Nuclear scan it was discovered that Bobbi’s  aorta had detached from her heart. She was then transported to another hospital for aortic dissection emergency surgery. During the surgery a portion of her aorta was replaced where it attaches to her heart. The surgery lasted 4 hours.

Bobbi pulled through her surgery, and is still in the hospital. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her. It is expected that Bobbi will be unable to work as a hairstylist, which is her passion, for approximately 3-4 months. If you’ve ever had your hair done by Bobbi; then you know what a treat it is. She always makes you feel welcome, gets you laughing and when you leave her chair you look and feel like a million bucks. Unfortunately, with such a long recovery ahead of her, Bobbi will be unable to work. Bobbi’s  former hair salon, Identity Studios, in Bonney Lake, has graciously agreed to take on her current clients if needed during her recovery. They will be doing a raffle for a gift basket in support of Bobbi as well, for which we are very grateful.

Bobbi has  a zest for life. She loves to scuba dive and shoot guns. She has immense love for her two sons, Chad and Nathan and her granddaughter, Penelope.  Bobbi loves the life she has built with her boyfriend of 6 years, Jason, along with her two jack Russell pups. Bobbi  has been a hair stylist for over 30 years. She has made many friendships through her gift of doing hair and she certainly loves all of her amazing clients. We know she will be itching to get back to doing all the things she loves after she has recovered, and we all cannot wait until that day comes! However, In the meantime we have set up a Caring Bridge account for Bobbi as she begins her recovery and a GoFundMe account for donations to go towards her recovery effort. With mounting medical bills and months of missed work ahead of her, anything you can manage to donate will be graciously and thankfully accepted.
