Bob Arrington, a retired 30-year executive, operated a private consulting firm working in San Francisco Bay Area mentoring small business development. For the past 20 years Bob has served as both a board member and president for a number of non-profit charitable organizations on the San Francisco peninsula. In addition, he has received political appointments to positions on commission at the city and county level, including serving on the 2001-2002 San Mateo Grand Jury.
His extensive executive experience includes ten years of leadership in both local and international missions at Menlo Church. Within this arena, Bob has worked closely with international partners in the Ukraine, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, Poland, China, and Ethiopia and locally with mission partners in Redwood City and East Palo Alto, California to secure operating and project funding and to help organizations understand and apply sound business principles.
Bob became acutely ill in the beginning of January 2016. Initially the doctors thought that he had pneumonia, but he was unexpectedly diagnosed with lung cancer. Due to the spread of the cancer, he is currently in hospice at home. The Arrington family is receiving visitors at their home.
Please be in prayer for Bob and the rest of his family and friends
