Bob Allison

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

On Friday Bob was admitted to the hospital in Tucson, AZ after not feeling very well, shaking all over, missing words and running a high fever. He was taken to St Mary’s where  his vitals checked out pretty well.

They think he has been fighting cellulitis  (an infection) in his foot. He is receiving antibiotics via IV and was switched to pill form today (Tuesday). The infection has gotten much better and after an MRI of the foot, they determined t didn't impact the bone. After an MRI of the brain, there are no signs of any new stroke damage. As of this morning, the missing words and hallucinations were lessened and we hope that will continue in the right progression.

As of right now and after several days of anxious waiting and lots of concern, things are looking up. He may be able to head back to thwork RV/trailer tomorrow. Plans wil be determined from there as to when and how our traveling adventurous winter birds and their dog will return home.
