Their words not mine. My words are: Welcome aboard for a crazy ride. It is crazy to be slapped up side the head on a bright, blue sky sunny summer day with the word cancer. Even crazier when pancreatic is added to it. And really crazy when, unfortunately, one starts reading too much and learn that this is not a hopeful cancer at all. BUT..........I am lucky. It was caught early. I wasn't afraid to whine over a little tummy ache, my doc didn't know what it was so sent me for a CT scan, a radiologist spotted the tumor and away this crazy story goes. I am a strange guy. All my life I have tried to figure out what friends are, I am not good at making them and have struggled with the whole concept. Some things aren't instinct apparently. But I feel I have friends now. You may hear more about my brain as this story goes on. I never know what is going to come out of my fingers. I have had a good ride thru life, I am not afraid of what the future will hold. So stick around and we'll make the journey together.
