On September 10, Blythe Speer, 15, had just finished wakeboarding practice when she crossed the street with a friend and was hit by a truck. Blythe was life-flighted to a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Downtown Atlanta. There, the trauma surgeon told her parents, Erik and Zoë, that her chances of surviving through the night were low. In fact, the doctor said, "I cannot believe she made it to the hospital alive." She did make it though. Follow Blythe's journey here.
