Blake Sebren

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Blake, Hally and Eryn had a major wreck May 23, 2016. They were headed for a fun day of swimming with friends when they collided with a log truck. Blake suffered the most injuries and still remains in SICU. Hally, Blake's sister, suffered head and eye injuries. She has been through two surgeries and is getting better everyday even though she still has a long road to healing. She has the best outlook and remains so positive through all of this. Eryn, Blake's girlfriend, suffered few injuries to which we are all so very thankful. Eryn has been at the hospital the entire time and has been such a huge part of Hally and Blake's recovery. She holds a steady positive attitude and wears the biggest smile.

Blake suffered extensive injuries, including broken bones and many internal injuries. He was airlifted the day of the wreck and was taken straight into the first of two surgeries. He has remained in SICU since. Blake had been waking up little by little at different times over the past few days for the nurses, but woke up enough yesterday to communicate with family members by using his eyes, nodding or squeezing their hand. This is one of his most noticeable milestones, even though he has made great progress everyday. Blake has more surgeries coming soon and will then begin his journey to healing. As the days go on, updates for Blake will be posted here. All love, support and prayers are noticed and appreciated.
