Blair Monie

            We are using this site to share a new challenge in our lives. In consultation with a team of wonderful doctors at Baylor University Medical Center, it was discovered that Blair has pancreatic cancer. We are grateful that it was discovered early and before other symptoms appeared. Of course, we would have loved to sit down with each of you to share this personally, but that would be impossible. We apologize for having to use technology to tell you about our situation. The plan at this point is for Blair to start chemotherapy in the near future. Over the years, we have had the privilege of walking the challenging roads of life with so many of you. Your faith in those times has taught us, inspired us, and strengthened us; and now it’s time for us to live out our faith in this journey. As the Letter to the Hebrews says, “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” So we will hold on to the faith that God will give us the strength and wisdom for this journey. We treasure your love and prayers. Please know that we love you all.
