Thank you to all our family and friends who are supporting us during this trying time.
On Monday evening, September 21, the Norfleet family's world was turned upside down. That night, Blain was complaining of a terrible headache. We now know that he was suffering from an aneurysm near the base of his brain; the walls of one of his main arteries were weakening. Late that evening the aneurysm ruptured, which caused bleeding and swelling throughout his brain. He lost consciousness and was taken by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White hospital in Temple, Texas.
Since the accident, Blain has undergone surgery to repair the aneurysm and is continuing to receive care in the Neurological ICU in Temple. Our prayerful hope is for his body and mind to heal and for him to be awake with us soon.
Our family is so thankful for our amazing husband, brother, father, and grandfather. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from so many dear friends--people who have been touched by Blain and know what an incredible person he is. We celebrate Blain's faith, which lets us look to the future with hope and without fear.
