Today, 12/15/2010 I was admitted to Stanford Hospital for treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). I will undergo intense chemotherapy over the next few days and will remain in the hospital for an addition 2-3 weeks to recover. This came as a huge shock to us and we ask for your thoughts and prayers in our journey. I will update the journal section as I progress. Cards and notes are encouraged but unfornately no flowers can be sent to the unit, humorous cards & encouragement are very welcome. Bill luckily seems to still have his sense of humor. Hopefully this site will help us include you in this new phase of our lives and we will try to keep it updated.
