Bill had a left tonsillectomy on 1/12/2017 following a sore throat. Biopsy resulted in a diagnoses of HPV-associated Squamous Cell Carcinoma. On 1/25/2017 a CT/PET scan showed the cancer localized to the tonsil and near lymph node areas of the mouth.
