Cancer is never good news. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12  


On October 24, dad had a prostate procedure done as well as a bladder biopsy.  Unfortunately, the biopsy resulted in a diagnosis of cancer.  He will have surgery on December 2 in Spartanburg.  We are praying for the surgery to be accomplished robotically with no complications and that all of the cancer is removed.  He's a pretty special fellow - he cares for our mother who has late stage dementia.  They have the sweetest relationship!  They were married when they were only 18 years old and are the truest of soul mates.  We covet your prayers as well as your encouraging posts to this wonderful website.   We have so much to be thankful for!  God has sent so many amazing friends and family to help during this tough season!!  There's no way to adequately repay everyone for their kindness.  Please know that not one expression of concern has gone unnoticed or unappreciated!  These acts have sustained us all during this time.  May God richly bless you and your family!
