Bill has not felt like himself for quite awhile. He found out Monday April 26th that he has a Meningioma tumor in his brain behind the right eye. The tumor is pushing on the optic nerve and wrapped around an artery. If it's not removed; he will lose his eye and have a stroke. The surgeon says that there is a good chance that they won't be able to remove all of it so he will need radiation if that is the case. There is a strong possibly that the tumor is benign, but confirmation will happen after the removal.
Bill will be at St. Joseph hospital in St. Paul Tuesday May 17 and have surgery Wednesday May 18th. He will be in Intensive Care a couple days then moved into regular care for a couple more days with a total stay of a week. Hopefully he can avoid transitional care and come home. He will be off work 3 months.
Please keep Bill in your thoughts and prayers. It means so much. 🙏🏻
