Thank you for visiting the Caringbridge site. I initially thought of starting a prayer chain, so PRAYER IS WHAT I’M ASKING FROM EVERYONE THAT VISITS THIS SITE. I also thought it would be helpful to have one place that friends and family could get updates. Please visit as often as you would like, please share memories and stories you have of my Dad , or words of support and encouragement for my Dad, and also my mom, Paula. (she could really use them as she goes through this with my Dad.) Thank you again. This is the situation... My Dad, Bill, was diagnosed with Cancer in January, In March a procedure was scheduled and the Dr. removed the tumor completely, and his prognosis was good. The next CT scan was done and there were nodules in his lungs and a mass was found in his liver, so he began chemotherapy for the next few months. His next appt. was scheduled for October 23, 2020, on his 74th birthday, and he was told that the chemo had not been effective and the cancer had actually metastasized and tumors had grown in spite of the treatments. The only option was intense chemo with very little chance of it working so my Dad opted not to have the treatment, there is not a surgical procedure or any other option available. The diagnosis is less than 6 months.
