Bill Heidelman

Our family was dealt a bit of a blow last week when Bill was diagnosed (September 9) with esophogeal cancer.  He had been having pain while swallowing and after the "normal" treatments they ordered some tests.  We were as suprised as anyone reading this when the Doctor came out and said he found a sizeable (about 2 in by 3 inch)  tumor and that we needed to seek treatment via an Oncologist and possible surgical options.  I mean, Michael, had a football game in a few hours!! (yes, we went.  you know, Bill, football, his son)


Bill's greatest joy in life is love.  Everyone who knows him, knows he is passionate.  He loves his Faith, family, friends, his Church, his job, his customers sports, coaching and all things that keep him moving.  These are the benchmarks of what makes Bill one of our most loving champions.  Bill is so strong.  His greatest wish is that through his suffering of this disease, that he can bring others to Christ.  It has been beautiful to watch him handle this with grace and such a fierce passion for his "mission".  


 If you feel compelled to join us on this journey, this will be where we try to keep the most updated information.  Know that we love your prayers and positive thoughts.  Lots of moving parts on this battle. There is  no part of this diagnosis that makes us feel like we cannot conquer this beast! Jeremiah 29: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."   


May God Bless each and every one of you.  We can't thank everyone enough for the love and support.  It's a battle, but we have the best army!!  Trust me when I say that we feel every single prayer.  Keep them coming.
