Early in 2021 Bill was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. After completing his radiation and chemotherapy the Dr. performed major surgery to remove the tumor and part of his esophagus creating a new stomach for him. Unfortunately, complications occurred which can happen sometimes with this type of major surgery. He developed pneumonia and an infection in his incision. That made it necessary to be put on a ventilator and antibiotics to combat the infections his body is now trying to fight off.
