Hello to all of Bill and Desiree's friends and family.  We are putting together this site to share the latest on Bill's status.

The last two weeks have been trying to say the least.  June 30th, involved a trip in an ambulance from Sunset Athletic Club to St.V's after almost passing out from getting over-heated watching Chase's tennis match.  Ultimately, they determined it was dehydration and pumped him full of fluids and released him after a brutal 5 hour ordeal - yet we somehow managed to find some light and laughed a bit during the process despite the situation.

A trip to the coast for the 4th of July, was something Bill very much was looking forward to.  A great time was had and has always, Bill was a trooper.  Unfortunately, two ER visits to Seaside unveiled blood clots in both legs and ultimately a CT Scan which has given us the most devastating news thus far.  Lesions on his liver and abdomen, required 16 lbs of fluids to be drained, as well as anti-coagulation medicine for the blood clots.

Our Oncologist has since determined that Bill is no longer a candidate for traditional medicine and may indeed have 3-6 months to live.  We are in despair but are not giving up and are looking into some experimental options to try and avoid the tough hand that has been given to us.

We will keep posting updates daily.  Thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts.  We love you.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. MLK JR
