August 26th: Our family would appreciate your prayers. Yesterday, my Father-In-Law, Wayne suffered a serious heart attack. It has been touch and go. We will know more details later today. UPDATE: Julie just sent me a text: Dad is doing better this morning. The doctors are amazed. Praise God.
August 27th: Update on Wayne. He went through multiple tests today that show no significant damage to the heart. It was a heart stoppage event that was caused by a multitude of factors. He will be in the ICU for a while, yet. He is alert and making jokes, but still a bit disoriented. Julie and Jeff are in CO to support Elaine right now. Thanks for praying.
August 28th: I appreciate the love and concern you all have expressed for Wayne and our family. I spoke with Julie recently and Wayne is still in ICU. His blood pressure is fluctuating, he has a temperature, and he is still very confused. We are told that it is normal to be confused after a cardiac arrest. However, our concern is possible long-term damage due to oxygen deprivation during the event. Please keep praying. Thank-you.
