Bev Harvey Bev Harvey 2016

Hi Friends, This is our sister Bev. She had been in the best health of her life;except for a "little bout" of what we all thought was Carpal tunnel...

She was/is a Bakery manager working long hours for Safeway for close to 28 years! She worked with some of her closest friends and had an AMAZING crew.

She loves to take hikes, do the beach at sunsets, loves to laugh…. but most of all loves to visit and spend time with friends.

This last September (2016) she was having quite a difficult time with her right side arm/hand becoming stiff;  losing her ability to write and feeling like it was numb and falling asleep ...which we attributed to what we thought was the carpal tunnel.

On a Sunday, she started having a seizure on her right side; abruptly waking her from a nap. We rushed her to the ER where she then had another LARGER seizure... a ct scan was done... We were all shocked and surprised to find out that in actuality, she had a golf ball sized 'glioblastoma’ tumor located on the upper left side of her brain (impacting her right side motor functions).

After a pretty successful surgery to remove the tumor, she still has no use of her right side arm and hand along with a ‘drop foot’. She is going on being off work for close to 3 months. We are BELIEVING in a MIRACLE...

She is in the process of Chemo and Radiation therapy now. She has good days...and bad...

We are grateful for all the family and friends that have already given so much of you time in helping Bev so far. We are also quite thankful for your future help!

Here we hope to document her journey and allow you to follow along and offer your support through comments and photos!
