Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. Beverly spent February 26,27 and released on Sunday the 28th at Northwest Hospital with a severe asthma attack. She went home with oxygen and was doing pretty good. Jeannie flew in Tuesday morning just in time to take John to Northwest ER for his back. They got home about 8 pm and Beverly was doing fine until about 2 am when she called paramedics (yes herself) to come and get her. They rushed her to St. Mary's Hospital ER and she was put on a ventilator and then it was discovered she had punctured a lung. She was admitted later that morning to Carondelot St. Mary's ICU were she remains in Room 24. Thankfully John's brother Charlie is visiting from Massachusetts and their daughter Bev lives nearby to lend additional support.
