Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. At the end of Nov 2016, Beverly was having lots of rapid heartbeat and weakness. Tests were run and her hemoglobin was very low. Blood transfusions had to be given. Early December she had scopes done and was diagnosed with G.A.V.E.'s syndrome. A procedure was scheduled for January 18th to try and stop the bleeding. However, on January 13 she ended up in the hospital with two small blood clots, one in each lung. The procedure had to be canceled due to needing to be put on blood thinner to control the blood clots. So that has meant that she has had to have blood transfusions weekly. When the cat scan was done to check for blood clots they also found that she had a large lymph node in armpit. Biopsy was done on lymph node and she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Beverly worked very little in December and since first part of the year only worked a few hours due to her medical issues. She has had the 1st procedure done for the GI bleeding and if healing goes as anticipated she is scheduled for breast surgery Friday March 10 .. We invite you to walk with her on this journey ... with prayers ... Thank You !
