What I thought was a backache turned out to be a mass in my colon where my large & small intestines meet. After 2 MRI's and a colonoscopy, another mass was found along with cysts on my ovaries. I am currently managing my pain with Tylenol & Advil until the surgery so I can work without vomiting or being groggy.

10/3/17: I got a call today. The Colorectal Surgeon is not happy with the biopsy results so he wants another colonoscopy which he will do himself and then the next steps will be discussed. I don't know if this is good or bad news. I do know I hate the Prep!

It's been very emotional to say the least, especially with the one year anniversary of Bob's death this week.

I tell myself that it's okay to cry & to try to stay positive, and not to try and plan out next month or next year. I'm taking one day at a time and I am so grateful for a wonderful Son, family and great friends.

Please keep me in your prayers!
