They say everything happens for a reason. What that reason is, we may never know.
On Sunday, September 13th, I was taken by ambulance to the Morris Hospital. I woke up that morning feeling strange. Before I knew it, I was unresponsive. This happened after I called Greg. I was brought to Morris and they ran tests. It turned out that I had a brain hemorrhage from a brain tumor and a Pulmonary Embolism. I was then rushed to St. Cloud Hospital via ambulance (2 rides in 1 day). I ended up with 2 surgeries in 1 day too. They put a filter in my artery to catch the clot. Later on that day I had most of the tumor removed. They couldn’t get it all, because it was in a very crucial area. I finally received a call from the surgeon (a 6 week wait). It turns out that I have a stage 4 Glioblastoma. It is a very aggressive cancer. I will soon start on chemo and radiation, lasting approximately 6 weeks. From there I will go back to the Dr. to find out how well the treatment worked.
I ask of you prayer warriors, to please pray for me and my family. It is going to be one heck of a ride and I don’t feel strong enough to go through it alone. Thank you in advance.
