To get everyone up to speed on Betty, here is what has been happening. I'll do my best with the medical terminology, it's definitely not my thing. Betty has been fighting Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer for 1 1/2 years. She tolerated chemo well, did maintenance chemo but the cancer started to grow again. She did another round of chemo & is currently doing maintenance chemo. The end of March/beginning a April Betty started noticing some difficulty when swallowing. Things continued to get worse & she was to the point where it was a struggle to eat soft foods or drink water and would cough & gag when she tried.
