Hello All!

We started this site as a way to communicate with you about Mom's condition and also as a way for you to communicate with her as well. 

As most of you likely already know, Mom had not been feeling well for over a week. Her symptoms seemed to be mostly stomach related, and we did not even think of Covid. By Thursday, she was quite weak and confused so Carol dropped her off at ER at Metro Hospital. She was soon admitted with a diagnosis of pneumonia, had a test for Covid19 and has been there since.

This unique time keeps us from being able to sit at her bedside, and that is so very hard. We call often to check in and offer encouragement to her. She loves being reminded of favorite Scriptures and comforting hymns. We thought it would be great if we could share some words from the people she loves and misses, those people who we know would provide her with great encouragement if they could. Thank you for being one of those people in mom's life.  

Right now mom is struggling, tired, and in pain. She has had some very long nights. The coughing from the pneumonia has set in. We have no results yet of the Covid19 test as today it had to be redone for some reason. We will post here as soon we know the results. (We are so sorry for those who have been in contact with mom and now have to wonder a few days longer, perhaps up to 5 days.) 

Please pray for Mom. She needs strength, healing from her pneumonia, relief from pain, an appetite, and comfort in lonely moments. We know her faith is strong, but long, dark nights are hard. Please pray that she has an overwhelming sense of God's presence with her.  She has been so intrigued by angels lately, and we pray for them to surround her bed as we cannot.
