Betsy Wong Life with cancer.

A new journey in our lives has begun. I was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago and am undergoing chemotherapy treatments at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center in Ann Arbor, where I am blessed with a caring, compassionate and highly skilled medical team. There are still questions to be answered; the diagnosis comes after months of puzzling symptoms, MANY tests, and an initial diagnosis of a benign condition (confirmed by Mayo Clinic). Persistence and referrals to a specialist, who in turn sent me to UofM, brings us to this. Life can change so quickly. My [newly bald] head is still spinning as we adjust to a new reality. But we are so blessed by an amazing family and an amazing community - all of YOU!  We'd like to share our journey, and hope you'll take a look at this site once in a while. Our hopes and prayers are for strength and victory over this illness!  With love, Betsy and Brad
