I had biopsy-surgery on Valentines Day.  On the following Monday, the pathology revealed Squamous Cell Carcinoma (AKA Anal Cancer) in 5 out of 6 of the biopsies. We are elated to learn that with aggressive Chemo & Radiation treatment, there is a 95% cure rate.  As the biopsies heal, we wait.


I feel like I need to back up a bit.... did I have symptoms ??? Well... I had a little blood streaks in my poop. You'll get used to that word.. I've said it a lot ! Poop! Poop! Poop! Oh poop!!

Anyway... after a visit with my GP I had a colonoscopy... after discovering 3 internal hemorrhoid, but he became more concerned about a lesion close by in the anal canal . Two days later I was getting ready for biopsies .


I was accepted to MDAnderson Sugar Land... my first appointment is next Tuesday march 7 th. I am truly Blessed. Check on my journey right here! I thank you for all your love and prayers!!
