On Wednesday, March 22, Betsy suffered a major brain aneurysm. She was taken to St Joseph’s Hospital, and subsequently transferred to the University of Maryland Hospital Shock Trauma unit in Baltimore. Her initial condition was complete unconsciousness with little response to stimuli. But believing in a sovereign God whom she loves and who loves her, Betsy is surrounded by immediate and extended family who are praying for a full recovery. We will keep you posted at this site as events unfold. In the meantime, here is what the family needs:

1. Prayer
We believe that God can fully heal Betsy. We ask that you join us in praying that God in His grace would give Betsy a full recovery.
2. Friendship
The road to recovery may be long, and we ask that you continue to support Betsy’s husband John and their children, John Bobby and Beth with your love and friendship as they continue to trust God through this time.
