On September 1st,  Beth noticed an enlarged lump on her right breast. After a mammogram and ultrasound, they found a 7 cm hard cyst and deemed it to be "very suspicious".  On Sept 2nd, Beth underwent a biopsy of the cyst and of two of her lymph nodes. She was notified the next day that the results came back as grade 3 Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in the breast which had spread to the lymph nodes.

As we move forward, we will be keeping updates here about her journey. 

Beth’s sister Cindy lost her fight to breast cancer 19 years ago at the age of 35.  Cindy was an artist, who painted a series of 29 paintings, as a diary of her breast cancer journey.  This will be incorporated in Beth's CaringBridge.
