I Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you"

Thank you so much for checking on Beth.  As most of you know, Beth began to have health problems in May of this year.  She was diagnosed with NASH, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, which is an aggressive form of fatty liver disease.  This quickly changed to cirrhosis and the doctors began talks of a liver transplant.  She  visited Duke one time for some testing and was scheduled to return the week of November 16th to begin the approval for a liver transplant.

On Friday November 6th she was informed that she would most likely be having a liver and kidney transplant due to the condition of both organs.  She felt as well as can be expected over the November 6th weekend even taking a walk at South Holston Dam on Sunday.  On Monday she begin to feel bad and went down hill throughout the week.  She visited her kidney doctor on Thursday and by Friday had to be taken by ambulance to Johnson City Medical Center.   She was air transferred from there to Duke on Friday and is battling a severe infection.  She is currently in ICU on a ventilator and 24 hour dialysis.  Please pray for a miracle!

Pray that they will be able to control the infection and she will get strong enough for them to perform the transplants.

I will try and post daily updates on this site for specific prayer concerns.  Beth is in God's hands.  This is not something new, she has been in his hands since she was conceived.  We are trusting in God's plan for Beth's life.  Thank you for praying with us.
