Hello, I am an artist, cake and acrylic. This March I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in my left breast. This terrified me because I already have severe RA, Systematic Lupus, fibromyalgia so to add cancer to the mix was a total surprise. My mastectomy was scheduled for April 12th. The day before my surgery my Father was rushed to the hospital with heart issues. He has a pacemaker and a diphibulator, his top of the heart was not beating correctly so they had to put him to sleep to try and shock it back in rhythm. This was scheduled the same day as my surgery in a different hospital. To make a long story short my Father was given 2 weeks to live and came home on hospice, he lived 1 month and passed March 22nd at 74. I am an only child and very close with my Dad. My father's sister and my favorite Aunt, who was like my big sister, also had a major heart attack and passed two weeks after my Dad. This was 2 weeks before my first chemo treatment.
My chemo began June 27th - which has made me so sick and weak. I have now had 2 treatments of the six I will have to have. Then radiation and hormone therapy. This process has drained my family and myself, I have not been able to work or even greave. My story so far on this journey.
