So many people have been asking about how Beth is doing that I’ve decided this is going to be a great way to keep you all updated. I invite you to register with the site so you can both read and post here.
Beth’s journey began in late January, 2018. She collapsed at work with what the paramedics suspected was a stroke. They took her to Riverside Methodist hospital in Columbus,Ohio. Scans revealed a brain tumor, and she had surgery three days later. When the surgeon met with us afterwards it was the worst news to receive. Stage 4 Glioblastoma. He was able to remove most of the tumor, but couldn’t probe any farther, so as to not injure speech and mobility areas. He told us prognosis was generally 12-18 months.
Well, someone has to skew the odds; Beth celebrated 24 months the end of January!
