For several years Beth has been experiencing health problems. She began having mini-seizures two years ago that were misdiagnosed as panic attacks. Beth has felt for some time that something was wrong with her body; it wasn't until Saturday, November 18, that answers came. She woke up that morning with a severe headache and soon after experienced weakness and numbness down the right side of her body. She went to the hospital where a CT and MRI were done. These scans revealed a large tumor, mainly on the right side, but deep within her brain. She was admitted to the Neuro ICU within United Hospital. On November 20 she had a biopsy which involved inserting a needle and removing tissue from the tumor. The tissue sample was sent to pathology to be determined the type of tumor.  We have yet to receive the pathology results, but are hoping to find out by the end of this week. Due to the size and location of the tumor, it cannot be removed surgically. Possible treatment options, depending on the type of tumor, include chemotherapy or radiation. We are fervently praying for God's healing and mercy. We are praying this would be a tumor that responds well to chemotherapy and/or radiation. Praying for God's healing, knowing that nothing is impossible for Him. Beth feels that God has been preparing her for this. Over the past couple years she has been so discouraged not knowing what was wrong with her body and not having answers. God has taken away her fear and anxiety! Such an answer to prayer!! Please keep Beth and Micah in your prayers.
