Thank you for visiting. Bernie went into Loyola Medical Center for his right lung transplant on January 30, 2021 in the midst of a Chicago Blizzard. He had the surgery the following day, Sunday, January 31. It was a successful surgery and you can check his slow but steady progress in Sue’s journal entries.
