Thank you for visiting!  I wanted a place to share my journey with all of my friends, family and anyone else following.  This is a very humbling experience and I am so grateful to have an amazing support system.
My story begins in mid-March 2019.  I had this pain in my left breast that was comparable to a clogged milk duct while nursing. I didn't think too much of it, but it never stopped. One day when I got out of the shower I noticed my left nipple was totally inverted.  I knew something wasn't right. I made an appointment with my gynocologist. She did not feel anything, but sent me for a mammogram. They did find a spot, and sent me for an ultrasound. The radiologist then decided she wanted to do a biopsy. This was the day I have been most upset. It's the day you realize something could be wrong. I still remember the day my dad told me they found a spot on his pancreas. Other than his death, that was definitely the hardest day for me during his journey as well!  I went for my biopsy on. They called me the next day to share my diagnosis. The nurse told me it was mucinous carcinoma. The fighter in me immediatey surfaced and I am preparing for battle!  Thank you for following and standing behind me during my battle! I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers!  Love to all!
