On December 15, 2016, Berkley Marie Close was born in Iowa City, Iowa She came into the world much earlier than anticipated; at only 25 weeks. She weighed just 1 lb. 13oz. She needs machines to help her breath and get nutrition. She is a beautiful little fighter, but has quite a road ahead of her. She is so unbelievably strong for how little she is! She is so amazing:) we will try our best to keep everyone updated as we hear more each day!
