Benjamin was born October 5, 2018 and within 10 days went under open heart surgery to correct multiple heart defects. He is now 7 weeks old and experiencing kidney failure, arrhythmia problems, lung concerns and lack of circulation to his toes. He is currently in Children's Hospital in Detroit, MI in the cardiac intensive care unit. Please check the caring bridge site for updates as we are attempting to reduce the number of texts and messages, although greatly appreciated, which are difficult to respond to throughout the day.
