Welcome to Belva's Caring Bridge Site. We started this page so that dear family and friends are kept in the loop on Belva's health journey and can provide words of encouragement to her. Her story began a few days ago with the onset of severe back pain. An ER trip yesterday and subsequent tests revealed 3 issues- an
Aortic aneurysm, a large mass in her abdomen (unknown type) and possible spine issues. The first priority is to repair the aneurysm so she is in surgery this afternoon. If this relieves her pain,doctors can then focus on the other issues. We'll post updates when we have more information.
