Bee Colman Bee's Friends & Family

As many of you know, Bee went to the emergency room on Saturday, July 3 complaining of severe back pain. She had been feeling this for a few weeks and it had become intolerable. Several X-rays. CT scans and MRI later they discovered a large mass in her right lung and adrenal. She was admitted to Kaiser on Saturday night and spent the week in the. hospital there. The biopsy revealed advanced metastatic disease stemming from squamous cell carcinoma of her lung. It has spread into other organs and bones.  She also had a  mild stroke while in the. hospital . She is now in Hospice treatment at home. This was sudden, shocking, and completely unexpected. We are all heartbroken.  Please contact Ed if you wish to visit her, we are limiting her visitors to two a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. 


She slipped away peacefully in her sleep at 7:05 AM on Thursday, July 15.
