Becky Willaert

Becky was diagnosed this past week with an aggressive form of cancer.  It has spread to her lymph nodes and is in her lungs affecting her heart.  She is at Abbot Northwestern Hospital because she has Pulmonary Hypertension, most likely caused by the cancer.  In addition, her platelet counts are very low.  She needs to begin chemo treatments, and her medical team is weighing the risk of chemo treatments to her heart vs. the need to fight her cancer.  It is a delicate balance; she has a phenomenal team of doctors, and the decision was made today to start chemo immediately tomorrow.   Prayers, well wishes, good vibes, positive thoughts or whatever you are into -  Becky, Chuck, and the boys could use them right now.
